Here in Waerebo village, we will experience the daily living of the indigenous people of Flores Island. Waerebo is announced as UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE, to preserve its natural and original condition. The Waerebo Village is located on a hill, 1000 metre above sea level and surrounded by mountains. Famous for its cone-shaped house that is man made and still housed the native locals. Here you will experience getting close to their root with respect to support the local without disrupting their way of life.

DAY 1 LABUAN BAJO – WAEREBO (L,D)
- Welcome to Flores Island! We will greet you in your hotel around 07.30-08.30 am
- Travel by car to Denge Village (around 4-5 hours)
- Enjoy lunch, followed by preparation for trekking
- Trek to Waerebo Village, around 2-3 hours. Enjoy the beautiful landscape and fresh air along the way
- Upon arrival in Waerebo Cultural Village, you will be treated with welcoming ceremony at the head of chief’s house
- Experience the daily life of the local community
- Dinner and overnight stay at Mbaru Niang (traditional Waerebo cone-shaped house)
DAY 2 WAEREBO – LABUAN BAJO (B,L)
- Enjoy breakfast with local dish together with the local community
- Free time to explore the village
- Trek down back to Denge Village
- Enjoy lunch along the way
- Stop by Lembor Spider Web Rice Field
