Amazing trip
We booked the 4d3n Ijen Bromo Tumpak Sewu trip. Our guide was Ririn and the driver was Ivan. We can only speak of them in superlatives. Both of them ensured that our trip will be remembered in the best possible way. We got more than we expected, thanks to Ririn and Ivan. They both excel at their jobs 100%. Tripperhood can be very proud to have Ririn and Ivan in their team. An exceptional experience????

Great trip!

Excellent trip with an excellent guide!
I'm not gonna comment on the view as everyone knows the views were magnificent. Instead, I would like to dedicate an appreciation post to our spectacular guide - Ayub. I personally couldn't thanked him enough for helping me and my friends throughout the trip. I won't be able to witness the beauty of East Java if not for his encouragement and assistance. I almost gave up after few minutes climb and ready to go down from Mount Ijen on our first day but he insists and willing to help me to the top, and down the mountain. He made sure everyone arrived safely and even entertained us with informations about the sites we visited. His knowledge about the places we went need to be praised. We get to know a lot of things thanks to him. His warm personality made us feel like we went on a trip with a friend instead of a tour guide. Such a blessing. Thanks a gazillion Ayub for everything and sorry for causing you so much trouble! And a little shoutout to our trainee guide, Naufal, thank you for staying behind and keeping an eye on everybody else, making sure everyone is safe and on the right track. May you be as amazing and vigilant as Ayub. Hope we can see you both again.

Memories for a lifetime
This is an appreciation post for our young tour guide whose maturity extends beyond his age, whose reliability is unparalleled, whose humor made us annoyed but entertaining at the same time, who isn't just a guide but a companion and a friend throughout this 4D3N trip to Ijen / Bromo / Tumpak Sewu. Dear Ayub, thank you isn't enough to show how we appreciate your patience, kindness, humor and help throughout this trip. You are an all-rounder guide, one that isn't just meant for anyone to be. Your care for us extends beyond what were expected of you and for that we are truly truly thankful. If one day we are to go there again, may I request for you to be our guide again? 4 days feel like a blip when you are always joking around and encouraging us and making us feel at home, as if we have known you for years instead of days. We found a friend in you and we wish you the best for your future endeavors. A side shoutout to our trainee guide Naufal as well, may you be as amazing and great as Ayub is.

Awesome trip!!
Really great trip - lovely guide & driver, Henky (guide) was a great laugh, chilled and easy to chat to. He took us to many local places for our meals as we wanted to try more local foods which were delicious and also great when on a budget but they do give you the option to go anywhere. Really awesome views & experience doing Ijen, Bromo, waterfalls & malang town, you can go at your own pace and make the trip a lot more personalised which we really enjoyed as we weren’t too fussed for staying with the busy crowds at the top of the attractions. The hotels you stay at in between hikes/trips are amazing, very fancy which was a nice treat! Lots of fun, we would highly recommend!! Thank you Henky!! Nicole & Connor????

Fun East Java Trip
We chose the 4 day 3 night tour (Ijen, Bromo and Tumpak Sewu) and our tour guide was Ashar. The tour was very smooth-sailing and fun, with the accomodation, transport, entrance fees settled. We don’t have to worry about that and we just have to focus on having fun! Our guide was friendly, helpful and accomodating. I would recommend Ashar and thank you for the fruitful experience!
