Start the tour in the middle of the night and head straight to Bromo for its sunrise. Continued by exploring the Ijen crater turquoise lake. You can finish the package by continuing to Bali or go back to Surabaya / Malang.

DAY 1 PICK UP – BROMO
- Welcome to Indonesia! Meet your guide & driver for the trip. They will greet you in the station/ your hotel by midnight
- Head to Bromo and rest on the way.
- Your jeep will take you to the sunrise point of Kingkong Hill or Penanjakan Hill. We’ll try to take you to less crowded spot with best view.
- Enjoy the sunrise and the iconic view of Bromo National Park
- Ride on a bumby jeep ride through the Sea of sand
- Photostop with jeep in Lembah Widodaren. Your guide will help take pictures for your keepsake memories.
- Hike up to Bromo crater (30-45 minutes hike)
- See the volcano upclose from the mouth of the crater
- Continue journey to Bondowoso (5 hour drive). Waste no time & understand about life in Indonesia from your guide.
- Check in hotel and rest
DAY 2 IJEN – DROP
- Get ready by 00.00 / 01.00. Head to Ijen start point
- Start trekking up 1.5 hours accompanied by our trusted local guide. Ijen local guides are from nearby villages who used to be sulphur miner. They learnt English to accompany travelers and earn better income.
- Go down the mouth of crater for blue fire (at times, blue fire may be closed due to the crater activity and or weather)
- Trek to the sunrise point. Enjoy the beautiful Ijen Turquoise Lake
- Trek back to the start point
- Drop in your preferred drop point. Say farewell to your guide and driver, and see you next adventure!

Difference between Private Trip & Open Trip
- In a open trip, you will share all the transportation & local guide with other guests, up to 12 persons per group. While for private tour, all the transportation & local guides will only handle your group
- The accommodation for a private trip will use a hotel-standard accommodation. The accommodation for an open trip is more like a guesthouse with a private bathroom (open trip wont use the mentioned hotel in our package, it will use other accommodation).
- During an open trip, the van will pick up & drop off the guest one-by one depending on their location therefore it might take more time at the start & end of the journey
- During an open trip, as you will share the package with other guests, you cannot customize or modify any part of the journey and must follow the set itinerary. While on a private trip, if during the journey you spot something interesting or have some needs, the guide can help & adjust your journey.
- Choose a private trip if you prefer comfort, flexibility & higher level of hospitality, choose an open trip if you prioritize budget.
