DAY 1 PICK UP – BOROBUDUR – PRAMBANAN

  • Welcome to Yogyakarta! Your guide will greet you in your hotel
  • Head to Prambanan Temple
  • Explore Prambanan temple. While Borobudur is a Buddhist temple, Prambanan is a Hindu temple. Here you will see several temple complex that shows how much in harmony religion stands in Indonesia.
  • Explore Kraton Yogyakarta and Taman Sari Water Castle. Yogyakarta is one of the few remaining city in Indonesia that still has a sultan (king) that rule the area. Explore around the castle of the king and understand how the kingdom rule the people of Yogyakarta whilst become a democratic country. You will also explore Taman Sari Water Castle where the kings used to bath with the concubines in the olden days.
  • Continue journey to Borobudur temple
  • Explore Borobudur temple, a local guide with accompany you to explain the history of Borobudur temple while exploring the beautiful relief surrounding the temple all the way to the top of the temple
  • Head back to Yogyakarta
  • Drop back to your hotel. End of tour and see you next journey
