We will cruise the Sekonyer River, trekking through the tropical rainforest and watch animals, especially orang utan in their natural habitat. You will stay two nights in a houseboat and wake up in the morning by the sound of the forest.

Tour Plan
DAY 1 PANGKALAN BUN – KUMAI – TANJUNG HARAPAN CAMP – HOUSEBOAT (L,D)
- Welcome to Borneo! We will greet you in your preferred pick point in Pangkalan Bun (airport/hotel). Recommended starting time before 12.00 pm.
- Transfer to Kumai and start cruising up the Kumai and Sekonyer River. Enjoy your first lunch with our traditional food on the kelotok
- After 2 hours cruising deeper of Sekonyer River, we will stop by the jetty of Tanjung Harapan Camp to see orangutans in their natural habitat. It takes short trekking around 20 minutes to get to the orangutan feeding platforms. Feeding time in Tanjung Harapan starts at 3.00 pm
- Back to the boat and cruise again in Sekonyer River. It’s a good time to watch Proboscis monkeys and other wild animals by the river
- Free time in the evening and have dinner on the kelotok (houseboat)
- Overnight on board
DAY 2 PONDOK TANGGUI CAMP – CAMP LEAKEY (B,L,D)
- After breakfast, we are cruising up to the Pondok Tanggui Camp. Orangutan feeding time here starts at 9.00 am
- Continue cruising for 1.5 hours to the legendary Leakey Camp.
- Lunch in the kelotok
- Arriving in Leakey Camp, walk to the camp to see the OrangUtan Information Center. Continue to see the orangutan feeding at 2.00 pm. Enjoy free time around Leakey Camp until 4.00 pm
- Back to kelotok and cruise downstream slowly
- Dinner and stay overnight in kelotok
Day 3 HOUSEBOAT-KUMAI-PANGKALAN BUN (B)
- Breakfast and continue trip to Kumai
- From Kumai we will transfer you to your hotel or the airport
- End of tour and see you another adventure with Tripperhood Tours.
