Arjuno Welirang Mountain Trekking
Embark on an exhilarating journey across the twin volcanic peak of Mount Arjuno (3,339 m) and Mount Welirang (3,156 m), two of East Java majestic mountain. Connected by a rugged volcanic ridge, this trek offers a mix of dense pine forest and volcanic landscape. Arjuno mountain was a sacred mountain for prayers and there are ancient ruined temples and relics in some part of the mountain. Welirang mountain is still active with sulphur on the peak and you can see some steaming sulphur vent along the trek.

Best time to trek: April to November
Condition: temperature at night can be as low as 5⁰C, long trekking with steep elevation, all guest must be in fit physical condition, no hotel/hut available in the campsite, all guest will stay in a tent, toilet tent is provided in a basic mountain condition (no toilet bowl) .

Jemmy Effendy started his mountaineering journey in Nature Lover Organization during his study. He learnt most of the basic mountaineering skill from Navigation to Survival Skill during this time. Though he briefly paused his adventurous life to settle down as property agent, he is now going full time as mountain guide and coordinator because that’s where his passion is.
