Phinisi is a traditional Indonesian sailing ship, made of wood, with two mast and a distinctive hull. When you are booking a phinisi, you are like booking a sailing hotel. And just like hotels, each Phinisi differs from the facilities it offers. Before booking a phinisi, you can ask if its a superior / deluxe / luxury type. Superior is more modest phinisi, deluxe is a better one and luxury is the most luxurious. Each phinisi has its name and different characteristic and looks.
A phinisi usually have several type of cabin (room) with different prices. The lower the cabin position in the ship, the cheaper its price. Some of the lowest cabin offers a bunk bed type with shared bathroom. While the cabin in the upmost part of the ship is usually the better cabin.
