Bromo – Ijen – Sukamade Turtle Conservation

Get inside the lush rainforest in Meru Betiri National Park where you will experience being a ranger and watch sea turtle in their natural habitat. After 3 days of hiking in Bromo Mountain and Ijen Crater , we will continue the journey to Sukamade Turtle Conservation. Here we will ride on a trooper to get inside Meru Betiri National Park, through rivers and deep rainforest. Make a stop to take a dip in the beautiful Green Bay Beach. At night we will watch the turtles come to the beach to lay their eggs. This phenomenon happens throughout the year. In the morning we will release hatched baby turtles that has been saved back to the beach.

PICK UP - IJEN

Welcome to Indonesia! We will greet you in your preferred pick point (airport/hotel/station).
Head to Bondowoso, Ijen (5 hours drive)
Check in your hotel in Bondowoso.
Free time and rest

IJEN - SUKAMADE

Get ready by 00.00. Head to Ijen start point
Start trekking up 1.5 hours
Go down the mouth of crater for blue fire (at times, blue fire may be closed due to the crater activity and or weather)
Additional fee for blue fire IDR 25.000/person
Trek to the sunrise point. Enjoy the beautiful Ijen Turquoise Lake
Trek back to the start point
Back to the hotel for breakfast and shower and check out
Head to Rajegwesi Beach (3 hour drive)
Ride on tropper jeep to Sukamade through Meru Betiri National Park (2 hour drive through rainforest and rivers, prepare for fun!)
Arrived at Sukamade Turtle Conservation
At night, we will see the turtles laying their eggs in the beach. The rangers then will keep the eggs safe, back in the conservation
Overnight in Sukamade Homestay

SUKAMADE - BROMO

After breakfast, we will go back to the beach to release the baby turtles back to the beach
Trekking down to Green Bay Beach
Enjoy and take a dip in the pristine Green Bay beach
Back to Tripperhood car, continue journey to Bromo.
Check in Bromo Hotel. Rest

BROMO - DROP

Be ready by 03.00 am, your jeep will take you to the sunrise point of Kingkong Hill or Penanjakan Hill. We’ll try to take you to less crowded spot with best view.
Enjoy the sunrise and the iconic view of Bromo National Park
Ride on a bumpy jeep ride through the Sea of sand
Photostop with jeep in Lembah Widodaren
Hike up to Bromo crater (30-45 minutes hike)
See the volcano upclose from the mouth of the crater
Back to hotel for breakfast and shower. Check out
Visit Madakaripura Waterfall. You’ll experience short scooter ride, 45 minute easy walk through the valley, walking through a short river, and a splash under a waterfall curtain
Drop in your preferred point. End of tour and see you next adventure!
