Get the chance to explore the thriving wildlife of Baluran National Park with the expert. Proffesor Nurdin Razak, has explore Baluran for 20 years and knows the park inside out. Together with him, you will trek through the National Park and see the animals from up close, understand the ecosystem and the variety of animals in Java. KNOW BETTER MR NURDIN RAZAK
Some people call him crazy. Well, they might be right. He’s crazy passionate for wildlife that he turns down some of life biggest offer like studying Master degree overseas just so he can spend more time in Indonesia’s wilderness. For 20 years, he dedicated his life for ecotourism and sustainability. He has not just visit but also explore and some appointed as consultant for 23 National Parks in Indonesia. Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Green Peace Indonesia, Forest Program 2 & 3 Funded by KFW Germany, Asia Conversation Biodiversity, Australia Award, Combat of Wildlife Trade UNDP, Panbil Nature Reserve Batam, Borneo Nature Foundation and Sumatra Tiger Foundation are some of the organizations that collaborating with Mr Nurdin Razak.Â
His main area of work are Ecotourism Assessments, Ecotourism Product & Development, Destination management, community development, homestay management. Right now he also teach Ecotourism in Ciputra University. Â
Since 2003, he captured wildlife in Baluran National Park as wildlife photographer. He’s also the owner of Baloeran Ecolodge for his guest accommodation.Â

- Welcome! Your guide will see you in Baluran Ecolodge by 04.45
- See sunrise from the village
- Head to Baluran National Park by car
- Enter Baluran National Park. We will start the trekking
- Head to watching tower where it’s a perfect spot to sightsee the Savanna Bekol and Baluran Mountain
- Trekking toward Bama Beach (3 km trekking)Â
- We will try to see the many deer and water buffalo during the trek
- Pass by mangrove trekking for bird watching
- We will enjoy the sound of nature until arriving in Bama Beach
- Enjoy the surrounding area, you will feel the atmosphere of the wildernessÂ
- Stop by Evergreen Zone, in this area Javan leopard sometimes seen
- Trek back to starting point and finish in Baluran Ecolodge
