Our friends provided us several contacts for tour guides but we chose Tripperhood based on the good reviews from Tripadvisor. We were glad with the decision. I like that the admin was prompt in getting back to our queries and the dealings were done professionally. Our stay at recommended hotels were satisfactory and upgrade options are provided. We are happy and impressed by the assigned guide, Vincent . He was patient, thoughtful, punctual, engaging, enthusiastic, and outgoing! Before the trip, we had safety and welfare concerns as we didn’t have any intense trainings and preparation for the hike. Note this is a back to back hiking trip for 3 consecutive days! However, we felt safe and assured throughout the activities as Vincent was always around taking care, guiding and following us at our pace. We are appreciative of all the nice photo spots advice given and the photo taking service by Vincent. I like that we were occasionally being reminded by Vincent to document the memories of our trip. Because sometimes we get too tired to snap the photos and got swept away by the scenic view. The driver, Agus has pleasant personality and is a confident driver. We feel safe travelling with them. One more commendable trait about Vincent is his thoughtfulness when he learned about my husband’s birthday. He went the extra mile to get cakes to surprise him! We had the best ever adventure so far and an impactful memories from this trip! Will absolutely recommend Tripperhood to our families and friends!

I enjoyed my stay at Surabaya, thanks to the wonderful guide I had Athisa from Tripperhood. Athisa herself is an adventurous person, loves travelling and knows places in and around Surabaya very well. In fact when I'm coming next time to Indonesia, definitely I would get in touch with the Tripperhood team for their services and fabulous assistance once again.

We had an amazing time with Athisa on Java, visiting Sempu, Bromo and Ijen. Everything was perfectly organized and we felt like we are visiting a country together with a new friend. We had lots of fun together and have lots of nice memories! We hope that we can come back soon and see more of this amazing place! 🙂

We love our guide, she's young and energetic! We were introduced to various kind of local food which was both authentic and very affordable!
